What should be achieved?

The staff in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your teams the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos can be independently optimized to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in some dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo booth like at a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be set up.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can happen synchronously in several formats.

Logically, each file can also be "personalized" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will appear directly on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new images, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose from to get their image as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to copy their original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is then sent to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the workforce can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased directly.
