The workforce in your company is given the opportunity to take their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional employees on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There the employees can sit in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID. The information collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can automatically be exchanged for one or more of the background settings you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in different sizes at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee will be visible on the picture.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to get their photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to copy down their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the staff can copy down their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the direct vicinity of the photo box.
