The mission goal

The employees in your company have the option of photographing and / or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the optimal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different formats and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees are allowed to stand in front of the photo box, comparable to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.

After the photo of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio determined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can happen in several sizes at the same time.

How does the employee get their photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to receive their image as a file.

1. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photobox provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
