The mission goal

The field staff in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional staff are not needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and saved in different shapes and aspect ratios if desired.

One possible solution

You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is simply read in from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place in different formats at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will also be visible on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the sales representative to get his picture digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download his original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox.

Additional uses

In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame

The investment for the purchase of a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
