The use of a photo box for employee photos

The field staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
This gives your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently adapted to the appropriate format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen, just like with the photo booth.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then subsequently becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in various dimensions at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the help of the logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be visible on the image.

How does the staff get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to choose from to get his photo as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the field service employee can use to download his original recording and the different sizes for the different target systems.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the sales representative can load his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail address.

Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
