What should be achieved?
The field staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adjusted to the optimal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You can position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be set up.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed at a defined point on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photograph taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can be done in parallel in different sizes.
So you always have the right photo for
XING, Twitter, Outlook, WhatsApp & Co, the CRM system, LinkedIn, Facebook
etc. lying ready.
Logically, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will also be visible on the image.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to get his picture digitally.

In this case, the photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where the sales representative can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the sales representative can use to load his original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
Additional deployment options
In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following possible uses:
- Recordings of groups of visitors, e.g. after a lecture
- Photo attraction at customer events & meetings
- Creation of biometric passport photos and ID photos

The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for 650 € + 1 € / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
