The use of a photo box for employee photos

The field service employees in your company have the option of photographing and / or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed or alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the optimum format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many formats and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can be set up.

Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or more background settings you specified. In the same way, the head of each photo is detected, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio determined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the captured image with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in different dimensions at the same time.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new recordings, the sales representative can choose between three different ways to get his photo digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the sales representative can use to download the original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.
2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.

In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

The cost frame

The investment for purchasing such a customized photo box starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over directly.
