The use of a photo box for employee photos

The field staff in your company get the opportunity to photograph and/or update the personal employee photo at a fixed location or at rotating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the chance to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

The solution

You can place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box like in a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.

After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in parallel to many extents.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the staff get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to choose from to also receive his photo digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the sales representative has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the field worker can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is sent immediately to the employee's mailbox.

Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the photo box is bought directly.
