The mission goal

The field service employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
This gives your staff the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The data collected in this way are then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the employee profile.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.

The image is saved in a size and format that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place in several sizes at the same time.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for field staff to receive their image digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the sales representative can use to download the original photo and the various sizes for the different target systems.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN into which the sales representative has to dial.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the sales representative can upload his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address.
