The mission goal

The field staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff are not required on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves 100% with their personal employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically optimized to the best format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in a number of dimensions and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the photo booth and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image can be output synchronously in various dimensions.
So you always have the perfect photo for
Twitter, XING, LinkedIn, WhatsApp & Co
etc. lying ready.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can also appear on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to choose from to receive his picture as a file.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to copy his original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the sales representative has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where the sales representative can copy his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this route is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.

In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

• Pictures of groups of visitors, e.g. after a lecture
• Photo attraction at customer events & congresses
• Employee photos (as already explained)
• Use at trade fairs to create personalized “flyers”
• Use at sales force parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}

The cost frame

The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 or more employees.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is retained.

Customer ratings

Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been set up permanently in this country and in Zurich.
