The mission goal
The field staff in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update the personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to fully identify themselves around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display, as with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is simply read in from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can be done in different formats at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
XING, Instagram, the CRM system, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Outlook
etc. at hand.
Of course, each file can also be "branded" using company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be visible on the image.

How did the staff come to the picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for the sales representative to get their image as a file.

The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to copy his original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the sales representative must dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the field worker can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
Alternative deployment options
In order to make the best possible use of the investment, the following betting options are available to you:
- Production of biometric passport photos and ID photos
- Use at trade fairs to issue personalized “flyers”
- Use at sales force parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
- Photo attraction at customer events & congresses
- Photos of groups of visitors, e.g. after a tour of the company

The cost frame
The cost of purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 or more employees.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
Customer ratings
Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
