The mission goal
The field staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, similar to the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read out immediately from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be set up.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can be in many forms simultaneously.
So you always have the right photo for
Facebook, Instagram, Outlook, the CRM system, LinkedIn
etc. ready.
Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with a logo and/or the name and position of the employee will be directly visible on the image.

How did the staff get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to choose from to also receive his photo digitally.
- Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the sales representative can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the field worker can use to copy his original photo and the different versions for the different target systems.
Other uses
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The investment for the acquisition of such a perfected photo box starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is retained.

Since the system was introduced in 2019, two systems have been set up permanently in Germany and Zurich.
