The use of a photo box for employee photos

The field staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically optimized to the right format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You can place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display, similar to the photo booth.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then subsequently an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can be set up with a sharing option for internal/external use of the employee portrait.

After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can happen in various formats at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the company's logo and/or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the sales representative to receive their picture digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photobooth provides its own WLAN, which the sales representative must dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download the original recording and the various versions for the various target systems.
3. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.

Further deployment options

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The investment for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
