What should be achieved?
The field service employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Personal identification, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds you have specified. In the same way, the head of each photo is identified, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined location.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available.
The image can be output in many formats at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
Outlook, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, the CRM system

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new recordings, the sales representative can choose between three different ways to receive his photo as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides a private WLAN that the field service employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the sales representative can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the sales representative can use to download the original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is retained.
