The use of a photo box for employee photos
The field staff in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional personnel on site.
This gives your teams the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth, just like with the passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photo taken and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in several sizes at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position will be visible directly on the image.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to choose from to also receive his photo digitally.

The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photobox provides its own WLAN that the field service employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download his original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.

The cost of purchasing a customized photo box starts at around €4,400 plus VAT, making it worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is kept directly.
