The use of a photo box for employee photos
The field staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional employees on site.
This gives your workforce the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You can place a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo booth in the same way as with a passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen may also appear with a sharing option for internal/external use of the photo.
After the employee picture has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can be done in parallel in different sizes.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to choose from to get his photo as a file.

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download the original recording and the different versions for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
