The mission goal
The field staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, analogous to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a release option for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the photograph taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, the sales representative can choose from three different ways of getting his photo as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the field worker can use to copy his original recording and the different formats for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides a private WLAN to which the sales representative has to dial.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
