The mission goal
The field staff in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
This gives your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be independently adapted to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen, just like at a passport photo machine.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can be set up with a sharing option for internal/external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed at a defined location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can happen in several dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the ideal photo for

etc. within easy reach.
Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to receive his photo as a file.
- Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the field service employee can use to copy his original recording and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides a private WLAN into which the field service employee has to dial.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worth it for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for 650 € + 1 € / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is taken over directly.
