What should be achieved?
The workforce in your company has the option of taking their own employee photo and / or updating it at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the optimum format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the recorded portrait and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional extension.
The image output can happen at the same time to different extents.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with the help of the logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately shown on the picture.

How did the staff get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to receive their photos as a file.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the workforce can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download their original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's email address.

Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
