The use of a photo box for employee photos
The workforce in your company has the opportunity to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino, the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your workforce the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many formats and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed so that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The data collected in this way are then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image can also be set up.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the recording can automatically be exchanged for one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data set using the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in several sizes at the same time.

How do the staff get their picture?

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to copy down their original recording and the different versions for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the staff can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
