What should be achieved?
The workforce in your company has the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently adapted to the best possible format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo booth, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way are then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved photo and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in various formats at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee will be directly visible on the picture.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can enjoy the new images, the workforce can choose between three different ways to get their photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the workforce can use to download the original image and the various formats for the various target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides a private WLAN that the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the staff can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.

The need for investment

1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
