The mission goal
The workforce in your company is given the opportunity to photograph and / or bring up to date the personal employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes periodically (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way will later become a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image can also be set up.
Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the photographed portrait and the internal employee data set via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place simultaneously in different dimensions.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately visible on the picture.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can enjoy the new recordings, the workforce can choose between three different ways to get their picture digitally.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is then sent to the employee's email address. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the staff can use to load their original image and the various sizes for the various target systems.

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is adopted immediately.
