The use of a photo box for employee photos
The workforce in your company has the opportunity to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the required actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as B. ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured so that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the picture is used to compare the saved photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place in various formats at the same time.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with logos and / or the name and position of the employee can be immediately shown on the picture.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to receive their image as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email inbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to copy down their original recording and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is bought directly.
