The staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that no extra staff is needed on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically cut to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data collected in this way is then subsequently an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the photographed portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place simultaneously in several sizes.

How does the photographed person get the photo?

To ensure that the CRM system or the Active Directory are not the only ones to get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose from to also receive their photo digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the various sizes for the different target systems.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photobox provides its own WLAN, which the staff must dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the workforce can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
