The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the optimal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can be set up.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is identified, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in different forms at the same time.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose from to get their picture as a file.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photobox provides its own WLAN that the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the workforce can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.

Other uses

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a perfect photo box starts at around €4,400 plus VAT, which means it pays off for companies with around 100 or more employees.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
