The use of a photo box for employee photos

The workforce in your company has the opportunity to create and / or update individual employee photos at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional staff are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best format, freed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You can place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.

The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The data collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be set up.

After the photo of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can automatically be exchanged for one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place simultaneously in different formats.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be immediately shown on the picture.

How does the employee get the picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to receive their image digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's email address.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photobox provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to copy down their original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
