The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company get the opportunity to create their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
This gives your workforce the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.

The personal photos can be cut to the ideal format by machine, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo booth like at a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Alternatively, a data protection screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.

Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in parallel in several formats.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” using the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for the workforce to receive their image as a file.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photobox provides a private WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is then sent to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the workforce can use to download their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.

In order to take full advantage of the purchase, you have the following options:

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.
