The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
This gives your workforce the option of fully identifying themselves around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo booth in the same way as with the photo booth and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be set up in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can happen in different formats at the same time.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to get their picture digitally.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can save their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems.
