What should be achieved?
The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You can place a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth, and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data, e.g. B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as optional add-ons.
The image can be output in several formats at the same time.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be included in the image.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose from to also receive their photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different versions for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the workforce can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is then immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox.
Additional deployment options
In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The investment for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is retained.
