What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.

The personal photos can be automatically cut to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in a number of sizes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo booth perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read out immediately from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way then subsequently becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified location on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can happen synchronously in many sizes.
So you always have the ideal photo for

etc. lying ready.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position will also appear on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employees to get their photo digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the company employees must dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can load their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the different versions for the various target systems.

Other possible uses

To get the most out of your purchase, you have the following options:

The cost frame

The price for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is already worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
