What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically optimized to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in some dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personal identification, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.
After the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or more backrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also found, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the recorded portrait and the in-house employee data set takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

How does the photographed person get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo will be sent to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download his or her original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photobox provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the Photo Box.

The cost frame
The cost of purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.
