The mission goal
The field staff in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update the personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
One possible solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be set up with a sharing option for internal/external use of the photo.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or several backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place simultaneously in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be visible directly on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for field workers to receive their photos digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download his original recording and the various formats for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
Other deployment options
In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following possible uses:

The cost frame
The cost of purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT, making it worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is bought directly.
