The mission goal

The field staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several sizes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photobooth in the same way as with the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the business card. The data recorded in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the picture taken and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place synchronously in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company logo and/or the designation and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How did the staff come to the picture?

To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory are not the only ones to enjoy the new photos, the sales representative can choose from three different ways of getting his photo digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download his original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is then sent to the employee's email inbox.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the sales representative has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the field worker can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Other possible uses

In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following possible uses:

• Recording of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Use at sales force parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Photos of groups of visitors, e.g. after a lecture
• Photo attraction at customer events & conferences
• Use at trade fairs to produce personalized “flyers”

The cost frame

The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over directly.
