What should be achieved?
The field staff in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your teams the option to fully identify themselves with their own employee photo around the clock.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the appropriate format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees are allowed to stand in front of the photo booth and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen, just like at a passport photo machine.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in parallel in several sizes.
So you always have the best photo for

etc. ready.
Of course, each file can also be "branded" using company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately included in the picture.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new images, there are three different ways for the sales representative to get his image digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download the original recording and the different formats for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the sales representative can copy his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
Additional uses

The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 or more employees.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
