The mission goal
The field staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that no extra personnel is needed on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be cut to the best format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in many shapes and aspect ratios if desired.
The solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can simply be read from the business card. The data collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the in-house employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place synchronously in some formats.
So you always have the right photo for
LinkedIn, Twitter, Outlook, Facebook
etc. are available.
Logically, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be visible on the image as well.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to get his photo digitally.
- Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where the sales representative can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download his original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.

The cost frame
The investment for the purchase of a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is bought directly.
