The use of a photo box for employee photos
The field staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a rotating basis (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, just like with the passport photo machine.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a sharing option for internal/external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place synchronously in different sizes.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position will be visible directly on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory get the new photos, the sales representative has three different ways of receiving his photo as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides a private WLAN that the field service employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the field worker can save his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the field worker can use to load his original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.

Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for €650 + €1/employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is retained.
