The use of a photo box for employee photos

The field staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently adapted to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen, just like with the passport photo machine.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in various dimensions.
So you always have the ideal photo for
WhatsApp & Co, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, the CRM system, XING, Twitter, Outlook
etc. ready.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately included in the image.

How does the employee get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to get his photo digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobox provides a private WLAN that the field service employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the sales representative can load his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the sales representative can use to download his original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.

Additional deployment options

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Use at sales force parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Use at trade fairs to create personalized "flyers"
• Employee photos (as described above)
• Production of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Photos of groups of visitors, for example after a tour of the company

The need for investment

The price for purchasing a photobooth optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course there is also the possibility to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
