The use of a photo box for employee photos
The field service employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your workforce the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in certain dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photobox set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. ID, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be configured in such a way that the data can easily be read from the employee ID. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee report.
After the photo of the employee has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a specified position.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio determined by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in parallel in different dimensions.
So you always have the best possible photo for

Of course, every file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee are directly visible on the picture.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new recordings, the sales representative has three different ways to receive his photo as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the sales representative can use to download the original photo and the various sizes for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the sales representative can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
