The use of a photo box for employee photos

The workforce in your company has the option of taking photos of their own employees and / or bringing them up to date at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the chance to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically adapted to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You can place a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the required actions on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also determined, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined position.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in parallel in various formats.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately visible on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new images, there are three different ways for the workforce to receive their photo as a file.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobox provides a private WLAN that the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where the staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
2. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the staff can use to load their original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems.

Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the photo box is bought immediately.
