The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photobox set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read in directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various background settings you have specified. The head is also found for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the image is used to compare the recorded image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in several sizes at the same time.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for employees to receive their photos digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to load his or her original image and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
