The mission goal
The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff is not needed on the spot.
You give your teams the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit in front of the photobooth in the same way as with the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way is later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can be in different dimensions at the same time.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can copy their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
