The mission goal
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in different formats and aspect ratios if desired.
The solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen, similar to the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a sharing option for internal / external use of the photo.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also identified for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photograph taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can happen in parallel to some extent.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company logo and/or the employee's name and position will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can copy their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load their original photo and the various formats for the different target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
Other deployment options
In order to get the most out of your purchase, you have the following options:

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.
