What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, detached from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the required actions on the display.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be programmed so that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a release option for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be set up.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the photo can automatically be exchanged for one or various backgrounds you have specified. In the same way, the head is found for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can happen at the same time to different degrees.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways to receive their photo digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his or her original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
