The mission goal

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional staff are not needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock with 100% with their own employee photo.

The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, as with the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read immediately from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the employee portrait.

After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the photo taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.

As an extra option, a biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in several forms at the same time.
So you always have the ideal photo for
WhatsApp & Co, LinkedIn, Outlook, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, XING, the CRM system
etc. ready.

Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately visible on the image.

How do the staff get their picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to receive their picture as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various versions for the various target systems.
2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox.

The cost frame

The cost of purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over directly.

Customer ratings

Since the implementation of the system in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in this country and in Zurich.
