The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company get the chance to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head is also found for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the captured image with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in several formats at the same time.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the picture.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to receive their photos as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can copy his pictures down. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
