The mission goal
The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff is not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various formats and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo booth perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information, e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the image can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been recorded, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place simultaneously in different formats.
So you always have the best photo for
Outlook, XING, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp & Co, the CRM system, Instagram
etc. lying ready.
Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with the help of the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can also be visible on the image.

How did the staff come to the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his photo digitally as well.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.
Further deployment options
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The investment for the purchase of a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for organizations with around 100 or more employees.
Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the photo box is bought directly.
