The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the option to create and / or update their individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional staff are not needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and, if required, saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up so that the data can simply be read in from the employee ID. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be set up.

Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds you have specified. In the same way, the head of each photo is detected, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the photographed portrait and the internal employee data set. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in parallel in different dimensions.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with the help of the logo and / or the name and position of the employee will appear directly on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory come into possession of the new photos, the employee has three different options to get his photo digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his or her original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photobox provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can load his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the direct vicinity of the photo booth.

In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The investment for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
