The mission goal

The employees in your company have the opportunity to take photos of the individual employee photo and / or to bring it up to date at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always identify themselves to 100% with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the best possible format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various formats and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way are then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or more background settings you have specified. The head of each photo is also located, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in parallel to a certain extent.
So you always have the perfect photo for
LinkedIn, Outlook, XING, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp & Co, the CRM system
etc. ready.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee are also on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory get the new photos, the employee has three different ways to choose to receive his picture digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original image and the various versions for the different target systems.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobox provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
3. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.

Other deployment options

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Recordings of groups of visitors, for example after a presentation

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a photobox adapted in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over directly.

Customer ratings

Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
