The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the option to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to always identify 100% with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the best possible format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.
Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically exchanged for one or more background settings you specified. The head of each photo is also detected, scaled to a specified size and placed at a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the photographed image and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

How does the employee get the photo?

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is then sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box.
