The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and / or update their individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
This gives your workforce the option of fully identifying themselves around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the best format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in various formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the required actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The data recorded in this way are then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also found, adjusted to a specified size and placed on the final image at a specified location.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the photo taken and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in parallel in many forms.

How does the employee get his photo?

The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
